A quiet weekend on the race front to report on. We had Sam Lynn being a Winter Beast at the St Aidan's Winter Beast 10K trail race and Lucy Turner (without fancy dress) finishing the 10 mile road race in Ferriby.
Well done Sam on finishing 21st out of a field of 298 in a time of 47.43 and he tells me he's pondering how he can chalk off another 5 minutes to start troubling the winners. I'm sure Coach Whitby will be full of ideas for you! On balance I think you had a decent weekend, what with Norwich winning in the cup as well.
As for Lucy's time, she had a great time! Bigger fish to fry with the Mad Dogs 10K in Southport on 1st Feb offering a £250 first prize in the fancy dress contest. Our house is like an Amazon delivery depot with all the packages arriving to construct the kit to beat all kits.

That's all for this week folks. Have a great running week and hope to see plenty of Posties at the AGM on Weds evening. Don't forget, we've decamped from the Minster Inn this year due to the growth in our numbers. We are down the hill at St Olave's Church Hall for a prompt start at 6.15pm.
