Thank you to everyone who has been in touch to share their ideas on the kit front.

The challenge with incorporating a stripe into the fabric of the shirt is that we will need to place a minimum order. Clearly that can be done but members won’t be able to order direct and we will need to hold stock, something we are keen to avoid.

The alternative is to print the stripe onto the shirt. Again this can be done but it impacts the wicking quality of the material and makes the shirt heavier to wear. If any of you have had some of the Run For All shirts in previous years from the York 10K or Marathon you will know what I mean.

What is clear from the feedback is that everyone likes our colours and some would like to retain some form of stripe. I have had a further discussion with our supplier and the revised option below reflects some of those ideas, whilst also giving us the benefit of being able to order one shirt at a time with no need for minimum orders.

The two images below show the proposed front and back of the shirt and would be available in vest and t-shirt options and in mens and ladies sizes / fit.

So, over to you again. What do you think?

I will post this to our Facebook page and you are welcome to comment there or email your views through to me simonmidd73@sky.com

Hope to see lots of you at training tonight. 6.30pm at Bootham Park.
